Unfortunately there are many Iowans
who believe Tom Harkin is unbeatable. Too many Republicans in our state don’t feel the fight is worth it – it’s
just too hard. I would like to remind these people that nothing worth having comes easy. Monumental tasks don’t come
to fruition without putting forth a monumental effort.
Before
1776 there was a brave group of people willing to fight for a change. Some said the British could not be defeated. Thankfully
this intrepid brotherhood took up the fight and brought forth and forged the greatest nation the world has every known.
The Liberals want to turn-tail and surrender in the war on terror
because the task seems too hard and not worth the effort. Let us not capitulate to the Liberals. Let us not presuppose this
task is too daunting and not worth the battle. Rather, let us rise up and in one strong voice together demand that we will
no longer bow at the altar of Tom Harkin and his liberal agenda leading our state down the road to ruination.
